Bakewell

This historic market town really is a little gem of a village in the heart of the glorious Peak District. Monday is market day, with the traditional market selling everything from bags to belts, shirts to satsumas. The wonderful old buildings, the character cottages, the meandering river with banks of green willow – Bakewell is simply a truly beautiful place.

 

Matlock Bath

A trip to Matlock Bath unveils the awe-inspiring beauty of the surrounding gorge. Explore the bustling market, where local treasures abound, or simply soak in the scenic serenity of this charming spa town.
