A truly royal day out .. Step inside Buckingham Palace to discover its many treasures and magnificent, lavishly furnished state rooms.

Buckingham Palace is recognised around the world as the home of the monarch, the focus of national and royal celebrations, as well as the backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony.

Discover the magnificent State Rooms only open for visitors throughout the summer.

Wander through the historic Throne Room, admire the beauty of the opulent Ballroom, the white drawing rooms, all of them decorated with ornate pieces and some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. 

Stroll leisurely along the southern side of the Palace Garden and cherish the enchanting and tranquil view of the surrounding area and the Palace.

The theme for the 2023 is Style and Society. This exciting exhibition explores what the Georgians wore, from the practical dress of laundry maids to the glittering gowns worn at court.

Home to the royal collection of historic coaches and carriages, the Royal Mews is considered to be one of the finest working stables in existence.
