Originally designed as a home for the local butchers market in the 1770s, the Covered Market is now full of independent shops, boutiques and cafes. There's something for everyone!
View Dates & BookOxford’s covered market is surely one of the most delightful markets in England. Slap bang in the middle of town, the market gives a gorgeous glimpse of old Oxford. Visitors can expect to see old fashioned butchers, cheese vendors and shoe cobblers. There’s also delicious, cheap food available from pies to thai, and souveniers galore!
