Join us on our second Footsteps Charity Walk for 'Breast Friends' around Pitsford Reservoir!

 

After the outstanding success of last summers event, many of our Footsteppers asked if we we would be repeating such a great event.

We're very excited to announce that our second annual sponsored walk will be on 12th July and all monies raised will be supporting Breast Friends Northampton.

 

At last years event, we raised a whopping £5112 for Breast Friends, a local charity that is so close to our hearts as it has supported both Sharon and Andrea throughout their own own personal breast cancer journeys. Now that they have both finished their treatments, we are still committed to supporting this amazing charity!

 

We kindly ask for a registration fee of £10 per participant. Furthermore, we encourage participants to seek sponsorship from friends, family, and colleagues to amplify the impact of our collective efforts. If you'd like to help as a volunteer rather than walk, please email us.

All monies raised will go to the 'Breast Friends' Northampton Charity. Breast Friends Northamptonshire was founded in 2017 by 3 women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Their goal is to provide support, promote prevention, and foster community for those facing breast cancer in Northamptonshire. With support from Macmillan Cancer Support and healthcare professionals, the group became a registered charity, offering peer support and organizing events and meetings Their committee of members run events, meetings and coffee mornings and ensure the needs of the members are met.

Jo Footsteps is fundraising for Breast Friends Northamptonshire
