Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey)

Highclere Castle is one of England’s most stunning Victorian castles, set within 1,000 acres of magnificent parkland. The Carnarvon family has lived here since 1679 and the current Castle stands on the site of an earlier house built on the foundations of a medieval palace once owned by the Bishops of Winchester for over 800 years.

Highclere Castle, made famous as the filming location of Downton Abbey, offers a unique chance to explore the grand rooms and sweeping grounds as seen on screen.

Your inclusive ticket gains admission to the Castle, gardens and Egyptian exhibition.

Before visiting the castle, we’ll enjoy a one-hour lunch stop in Newbury.
