Oxford - Abingdon River Cruise With Fish n' Chips

Enjoy free time in the historic city of Oxford before taking to the water for a relaxing two-hour cruise along the River Thames to Abingdon, with a traditional fish & chip meal included.

Departing from Christ Church Meadows, sit back and enjoy beautiful Thames countryside as you pass Oxford’s famous college boathouses and intercollegiate regatta course, Iffley Lock, Sandford Lock and the magnificent Nuneham House, built in 1756 for the Earl of Harcourt.

Your cruise finishes in the picturesque market town of Abingdon, one of England’s most historic settlements, close to the Abbey Grounds and Abingdon Lock.

The cruise departs Oxford at approximately 2.30pm, with fish & chips served onboard at around 3.30pm. We therefore recommend enjoying a light lunch in Oxford beforehand.
