RAF Hendon Royal Air Force Museum

The RAF Hendon Museum (formally known as the Royal Air Force Museum Hendon) is a fantastic day trip destination, especially for anyone interested in aviation, history, or the military. It’s located in North London, specifically in Colindale and offers a blend of fascinating exhibits, historical aircraft and interactive displays.

Planes on display include the Supermarine Spitfire, Avro Lancaster, Concorde and the McDonnell Douglas Phantom. There is a café on-site where you can grab snacks, light meals, coffee and drinks. There are also picnic tables on site so you are welcome to bring your own food. It's a great spot to take a break during your visit.
