The Windsor Enclosure

The Windsor Enclosure at Ascot offers a more relaxed atmosphere with no access to the Parade Ring or Grandstand. It’s a great spot to view the Royal Procession and racing, with over 2,000 free seats, big screens, live music, and plenty of bars and food outlets. While smart clothing is encouraged, there’s no formal dress code.

 

The Queen Anne Enclosure

This area offers great ground-level and lawn viewing of the Royal Procession and races from in front of the Grandstand. The Parade Ring, Pre-Parade Ring, and track are just a short walk across the Concourse. Enjoy 1,000+ free seats, big screens, and a wide range of food, drinks, and betting options. Daily military band performances and a traditional sing-along at the Bandstand (with free songbooks) add to the atmosphere.

 

The Village Enclosure

The Village Enclosure offers a vibrant social atmosphere with views of the final furlong and a unique perspective of the racing. Located on the inside of the track, it features live music across multiple stages, DJ sets into the evening and a wide selection of bars, street food and dining options.

Approx timings for the day:

• 12.00pm - Arrive at Ascot

• 2.00pm - Royal Procession

• 2.30pm - First race

• 6.10pm - Last race

• 7.45pm - Depart Ascot

• 9.45pm - Return to Northampton 

 

 

You are encouraged to bring your own picnic and can bring your own chairs and tables too, which can be stored under the coach. 

The food is eaten in the coach park alongside all the other coaches.

Small quantities of food & drink can be taken into the Windsor Enclosure but not in the Queen Anne or Village Enclosures.

 

You can now book direct with Ascot for afternoon tea for those with Queen Anne Enclosure admission if you are looking to make the day even more special.
