Step back in time at Black Country Living Museum in Dudley and leave the 21st century behind for a proper bostin’ day out! Across 26 acres, more than 250 years of Black Country history comes alive through reconstructed streets, homes, shops, pubs, factories and workshops. Meet historic characters, hear the sounds and smells of a working industrial town, explore the mine, old school and jump aboard vintage trams and trolleybuses. Then it’s time to yam yam your way through some proper Black Country favourites – grab fish and chips at Hobbs Fish & Chip Shop, pick up traditional sweets at T. Cooks Sweet Shop, or settle in at one of the historic pubs for a hearty meal and a pint. Don’t miss Forging Ahead, the museum’s exciting £30 million expansion, bringing a recreated 1940s–60s high street and new industrial quarter to life, complete with landmarks such as the Elephant & Castle pub and Woodside Library.

And if you’re a Peaky Blinders fan, you’re in for a treat. Walk through authentic filming locations from the hit series, explore Charlie’s Yard and experience the atmosphere of Birmingham’s notorious gangland era.

From bostin’ banter and traditional grub to roaring industry, rattling trams and characters straight out of the past, Black Country Living Museum isn’t just something you look at – it’s history you can step into, hear, smell, taste and experience.
